Researching the Ashenfelter Y-DNA line, and it's German roots as Eschenfelder. Launched on 1/15/2018 I would like to find several of both surnames to test to establish this unique line.
Also currently open to Y-DNA surnames with similar STR markers or SNP's to eventually trace the roots of the line. I am especially interested in finding Eschenfelder relatives in Germany to see if we come from the same line.
My MRKA is Philipp Jacob Eschenfelder b. 1716 and immigrated to the USA in 1742.
