The Projects – Manage page lists the group projects to which you belong. On this page, you can access project websites and select to leave a project.

The Projects – Manage page contains the following columns:

  • Project – Name of the project to which you belong.
  • Website – Project’s website address. You can click the address to open the project’s website.
  • Leave Project – Click Leave Project to remove yourself from the project.
Where is the Projects - Manage page?
To access the Projects – Manage page:

  1. Sign in to your myFTDNA account.
  2. On the navigation bar, click Projects > Manage my projects.

How do I remove myself from a project?
You may remove yourself from any group project to which you belong on the Projects – Manage page. To do so:

  1. Sign in to your myFTDNA account.
  2. On the navigation bar, click Projects > Manage my projects.

  3. Click the Leave Project link that is located in the same row as the project from which you want to remove yourself. A new window is displayed.
  4. In the window,  you can provide a brief reason for why you are leaving the project and click Submit.
    -Or-
    If you don’t wish to provide a reason for leaving the project, leave the field blank, and click Submit.
    If you clicked Leave Project in error and do not wish to leave the project, click the X in the upper-right corner of the window to cancel.

Note: This must be done while you are signed in to your own account as group Project Administrators are not able to remove project members from projects other than their own.
