The GAP - Order Summary page lists project member’s test status for each of the standard FTDNA tests.

How to Access the GAP - Order Summary Page

To access this page:

  1. Sign in to your GAP account by entering your Project Administrator username and password.
  2. On the menu bar, click Member Reports > Order Summary. The Order Summary page is displayed.

Controls and Columns

The Order Summary page contains the following controls and columns:

  • Update Order Summary – Click to refresh the Order Summary table.
  • Kit Number – Project member’s kit number that was assigned with their first order. If the member transferred from the National Geographic Genographic Project, then their kit number was assigned when they transferred.
  • Name – Name of the project member provided on the project member’s myFTDNA account Contact Information page.
  • Email - Email address(es) provided on the project member’s myFTDNA account Contact Information page.
  • Y-DNA12 - First panel (1 – 12) of Y-chromosome DNA STR markers.
  • Y-DNA25 - Second panel (13 – 25) of Y-chromosome DNA STR markers.
  • Y-DNA37 - Third panel (26 – 37 of Y-chromosome DNA STR markers.
  • Y-DNA67 - Fourth panel (38 – 67) of Y-chromosome DNA STR markers.
  • Y-DNA111 - Fifth panel (68 – 111) of Y-chromosome DNA STR markers.
  • HVR1 - First hypervariable region of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) genome.
  • HVR2 - Second hypervariable region of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) genome.
  • FGS - Full sequence of the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) genome.
  • Deep Clade - One of Family Tree DNA’s past Deepclade Y-chromosome DNA (Y-DNA) SNP test.
  • Family Finder - Family Finder autosomal DNA test.
  • Geno 2.0 - Y-DNA SNP and mtDNA mutation tests that are transferred from the National Geographic Genographic Project.

You may sort each column in ascending or descending order. To sort in ascending order (A->Z or 1->10), click on the column name once. To sort in descending order (Z->A or 10->1), click on the column name twice.

Statuses

The following options are possible for each test:

  • NoOrder_2Feb2016 -  No order. Project member has not ordered the test.
  • Ordered_2Feb2016 - Ordered/not batched. Project member has ordered the test, but the test has not been batched. Orders are batched once a week, and are only batch once payment for the test has been made.
  • Batched_2Feb2016 – Batched/no results. Ordered has been batched, and results are pending.
  • ResultsBack_2Feb2016 - Results back. Testing is complete, and results have been returned.
