As of 3/16/2022, the Y DNA results for the Towey group are likely haplogroup DF104 > DF105 > S588 > S603 > FGC57760 > FGC57773 > FGC65688.  This haplogroup descends from Conchobar of Magh Ithe.  What is now the Towey line likely branched from the main Clan Chief line about 950 AD plus or minus about 75 years.  The main Clan Chief line continued on to the O'Cathains of Derry and north Antrim.

Insufficient BIG Y data currently exists to classify the remaining Touhey (and other spellings) individuals.
