The purpose of the Sparrow Surname Project is to use DNA testing to determine what genetic relationship the various Sparrow families have with one another. DNA is an exciting tool for genealogical research so let's use it along with our traditional research methods to put the puzzle together. Males of direct Sparrow descent are eligible; or if you are a female and have a male Sparrow relative, ask him to take the test as your representative. The project will concentrate on Sparrows of the United States, but Sparrows from anywhere may join. By comparing worldwide DNA, we may be better able to determine our origins.
