Shambaugh, Schambach, Shambach, Schambaugh, Shambo, Shambough. The Shambaugh DNA Project was started initially to try and determine a connection between the first immigrant, Adolph Schambach of 1729 and the second immigrant, George Schambach of 1749. These two are responsible for most of the Shambachs, Shambaughs and Shamboughs in America though not all. Other families started arriving in the 1840s including families with the name of Shambo from Canada. Descendants of all of these families are welcome to participate in order to determine connections and ancestry of their Schambach or Shambo line.
