About us
The Radseck project would like to register any male family members with the Radseck surname and close spelling variations. We are interested in finding out whether families with this name have a common ancestor and possibly connect to Radseck families in Europe. Radseck families settled in Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and other states.
Research on the Radseck name has been undertaken for over thirty years. Most of the research has focused on finding the ancestry and descendants of Hermann August Gottlieb Radseck, who was born in Treblin, Kreis Rummelsburg, Pommern in 1857. He came to the United States with his family in 1913 and settled in Allegan County, Michigan where he died in 1930. Along the way, other groups of Radsecks have been discovered in different areas of the United States and in Germany.
