9/23/2010 DNA results show that descendents of Alex Munnerlyn of Jenkins Co., Georgia and his wife Frances Kelsey are genetically related to the Munnerlyn originating out of South Carolina connecting to the 5 Revolutionary War Munnerlyns, John, Loftis, Benjamin, James and William. An ancestral lineage to this connection is yet to be determined.
