A few have found their YDNA does not match the YDNA of what they thought was their Mock/Mauk/Mauck/etc line. A few others having a different surname have found they match a Mock/Mauk/Mauck line. Including adoptees finding their birth line.
Keep in mind, as FamilyTreeDNA YDNA expands to include tens of thousands of additional YDNA donors, 37 markers and less have become less reliable for finding your true YDNA line We recommend a minimum of 67 markers
