ATTENTION I have finally discovered and tested for a branch under M222 and am positive for the SNP S588 and a new Branch S7049. ALL McG's spelled any way can now test solely for the S7049 SNP to determine if your line also matches at that location. IF POSITIVE FOR S7049 and NEGATIVE FOR S7050 There are 10 additional SNP's under S7049 most of which seem to be related to the McG surname. They can be tested 1 by 1 or as a group at yseq or 1 by 1 at ftdna as soon as they offer them. They are FGC10135, 10136, 10137, 10138, 10139, 10143, 10144, 10145, 10146, and 10147
