The goal of this study is to encourage members and potential members of the Holland Society to submit DNA samples for analysis, to join Surname Y-DNA projects, and to determine if there are common Y-DNA markers for Holland Society members. The collection of this data may help others to join the Holland Society through finding exact matches to 37-marker Y-DNA. Standard genealogy research will still be required to join the Holland Society.
