This project is open to all Gilinsky's (and all spelling variants) as well as the related Gavenda's (and all spelling variants). By current paper trail research we have already successfully linking various Gilinsky & Gavenda family trees. The Gilinsky & Gavenda family names originated in Lithuania and Poland and a small group of the Jewish faith were allowed to take those names. (This project was started by Gilbert Garber and is continued in his memory.)
