You decide what information you share in this project.
It is your responsibility to study, understand, and configure the privacy and sharing settings for your information.
Project Members and Administrators use information shared in this project to research genetic and genealogical relationships.
Project Members and Administrators may publish papers, research, reports, and genealogies which include information shared in this project.
You grant the Project Members and Administrators a perpetual, irrevocable, and unrestricted right to use information, including DNA data, that you share in this project. Such uses include publication of papers, research, reports, and genealogies.
Within the limits allowed by applicable laws, you expressly acknowledge and agree that Project Administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, direct, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for goodwill, loss of profits, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if we have been informed of the possibility of such damages), resulting from your having joined, used, or participated in the project.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Project Administrators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) resulting from your use or access to the project.
Project Administrators are unpaid volunteers. You understand that Administrators volunteer administration for this project is not their highest priority. Administrators might not always respond promptly to member requests. If you receive no response within a few days, try resending your message.
We may make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify Project Members of any updates or changes to terms and conditions by sending a bulk email to Project Members, or by placing the update in the Group activity newsfeed.
