The surname Diteman is of German origin but it and its variants are now found all over the world.

R. Diteman founded this project and he was the Diteman Family genealogist for many years. His known descendant's, descend from one man:

B: abt 1820 Canada (Possibly Nova Scotia, per 1860-1910 Maine Censuses.
D: 1914 Littleton/Houlton, Maine.
His great-great-grandson has done a YDNA test, and we hope to establish the YDNA Diteman Line with the help of others.
