This project will test whether the following similar surnames are related, and, if so, how distantly related they are. The surnames to be tested are: Chesnut, Chesnutt, Chestnut, Chestnutt, Chesnot, Chesneau, Chesnai, Chesney, McChesney, Cheney, Chastain and other similar names.
