The Bonilla-Rosa Group welcomes anyone who may share our surnames. We invite both male (Y-DNA) and female (mtDNA) members. Since hispanic tradition tracks both paternal and maternal surnames, our group has documented ancestry with the following: Bonilla, Rosa, González, Vélez, Ortiz, Feliciano, Vadi, Bercedoni, Ponce, Bravo, Colón, Rodríguez, Soltrén, Nieves, and Pérez among others. These families are mostly from the western region of Puerto Rico.
