This goal of this project is to identify the various branches of the Blackadder family and related surnames. A wide variation in spelling has been encountered and all are of interest. We are particularly interested in males who 1)carry the Blackadder surname or 2) have a related spelling and a paper trail in Scotland or England. We have a close match between Blacketer (USA)and Blackader in Berwick, Scotland. Please contact a project administrator to review your particular situation and history.
