There are at least 16 separate Ansley (Annesley, Ainsley, Ainslie, Angley, Ensley, Endsley,Ainley, Ainlay, etc) family groups in the world today. The oldest group (Annesley) originates from the village of Annesley, about 10 miles NW of Nottingham in NOTTS, England. That family has documented ancestors dating to about 1068.
