PLEASE READ! This is a “multi Family Finder Project”, based around all the ancestors of BMGriffiths. IMPORTANT - please do not join the project just because you have a surname that appears in this project, otherwise you are likely to be removed from the project. If you think the project might be relevant to you, but haven't been specifically invited to join, please contact me (the administrator) first, to discuss your connection to the family.

The goal of the project is to investigate the DNA of the ancestors of BMGriffiths, through the genetic links found amongst known, and previously unknown, descendants of those ancestors. Genealogical methods are being used to trace descendants of BMGriffiths' ancestors. These descendants will be asked to test in order to identify any shared DNA through the known ancestral lines.

Current Family Finder matches of BMGriffiths, or of known relatives of BMGriffiths, are also encouraged to join the project, as this will be a means of more effectively working together to trace the shared ancestry. The main DNA test used in the project will be the Family Finder (Autosomal DNA) test but results from other types of DNA will used to confirm specific lines, where possible.
