• Join Family Tree DNA projects freely, but you will not receive matches or a haplogroup prediction.
• Your uploaded results will be available to the administrator and included on the project's public page for comparison with other project members.

For customers who have 33-marker Y-DNA results from a third party company that used the Sorenson's laboratory (this includes tests performed by Ancestry, GeneTree, and Sorenson's SMGF) use this option to upload your results to the Family Tree DNA database and includes additional testing with Family Tree DNA to make your results compatible with our Y-DNA 25 marker test for matching purposes. The $58 fee ($19 transfer fee + $39 for the added markers) will include the same features provided to Family Tree DNA customers:

• Matches: Genetic cousins who share the same paternal line. You will have full access to your matches’ names and e-mail addresses and any genealogical information they have provided. You can immediately begin networking and exchanging information freely.
