Project Goals
Since we do not know where in Georgia Charles Watson came from, we hope some cousins with matching haplotypes will come forward and share their knowledge of their own branches of the Watson clan. In the process of sorting it all out, we expect to build a large database of unrelated Watson families, since this is not an uncommon name. By careful, logical study of the DNA results combined with paper genealogy, we hope to sort them all out and find out who is related to whom, and where they came from.
