Project Goals
To goal is to test the Y-DNA of as many "Schweitzer" males, and of all surname variants, as possible. It does not matter where these families currently live. Thereby, we will be able to establish clusters of people descending from a common founder. This will help every "Schweitzer" family doing genealogy.
People with the family name Schweitzer are known to live in the following countries (in alphabetical order): Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Republiek van Suid-Afrika, Republic of South Africa, United Kingdom, USA,.... all of them are welcome to join this project.
