Background

In the late 1600s and early 1700s there were three known Striblings in Virginia: Christopher, shipwright, land owner, buried in Northhampton County, no known descendants; Joel, Ensign, land owner, large family; Thomas, ancestor of many of those in the USA. The country of origin of all three is unknown, however, circumstantial evidence points to England.
