2004 Jul 12 - the STRAUB/etc. DNA Project was opened.
2009 Jul 14 - as of this date, the project has 59 members, with results returned for 55 (plus one individual tested elsewhere). We have now identified twenty-four independent origins for these surnames: 20 STRAUB/STROUP/STROUPE families, three TRAUB/TROUP/TROUPE families, and one STRUBE/STROOP family.
