Project Goals
We hope to establish a large database of STIRM ancestral lines. Men that are tested will be able to connect with other STIRM descendants from proven DNA results.
Our goal is to build a resource of family DNA along with information on known ancestors for STIRM researchers to add to their family genealogies.
There are two known large groups of STIRMs located in CA and IA. There are other smaller groups of STIRMs scattered around the United States. It is hoped that we can get a male member from all of these groups to be tested.
