Background

This project was started to determine if Schieferl or Schifferl friends in Germany are related to us Schiferl descendants in the USA that Emigrated from Oberpfraundorf, Bavaria in 1847.
A known Schiferl descendent living in Wisconsin is the basis for the Y DNA comparisons to the two families living in Bavaria, Germany in May 2005.
