Project Background
There are large family trees of both the surnames Rofe and Relf families descended from families who lived in the Parish of Cranbrook, Kent for centuries. There is no common ancestor for these families in the time of written records but with DNA testing we hope that not only can we determine if these families are related but also find out if these families are related to others of the same surname living elsewhere.
