There were five significant lines in PA before 1750 using (or later adopting) these surnames. Two other lines, one in NC and the other in KY, are suspected of being tied to one or more of the PA lines.
Several other lines using one of the above surnames have located in other parts of the US.
There are also many individuals with these surnames who have not yet “proven” their relationship to any extended line.
