I have done extensive research on the trawicki
surname. it took me 10 long years to find out where my descendants came from in poland.however
my persistance paid off.i was able to find out that franek trawicki came from lipusz (lippusch)
west preussen and he was married to a maryanna
stachlewicz.they came to america in 1885 and settled in milwaukee wisc.furtermore i found out
that trawicki is a toponym denoting a location in this case Trawitz which is located near biala blota in the lipusz gmina(district)
