General Fund:
If you would like to further help the project beyond adding your own test results, please donate what you can to the project general fund to help us give discounts or pay outright for testing of individuals with limited means or those who might be critical to project goals who are not motivated to discover their family history. Be sure to enter "Cleary" when asked for the Surname Project. Please note that donations are handled by FamilyTreeDNA and only applied to DNA test purchases at our discretion.

Related Projects:The following FamilyTreeDNA projects should prove useful in our research:
- Hines: The O'Heyne Clan is also descended from Cléireach Mac Ceadadhach
- Clark: Variations of Clark can be English, Scottish or Irish. Some may be Ó Cléirigh.
- MacLaren: The MacLarens are Scottish but MacClary, Clerkin and Clark are known variant and they could easily be represented in Ireland.
- IrelandHeritage: This geographic project should help with the question of the Milesian genealogies among other things.
