Background
The Pillai,Nair,Menon,Poduval community of South India is supposedly very homogeneous, but we will find out for sure. There are several theories about the origins of this community but none have been confirmed using genetic anthorpology data. Some believe that they migrated from the North, while others are of the opinion that they are drawn from local tribes. This project hopes to understand their deep ancestral origins based on genealogical lines. Please consider joining this group if your family is known to have Pillai,Nair,Menon or Poduval origins.
