Project Background
All donations will be used to provide free test kits for the Moctezuma nobility residing in Spain so that they can provide a sample of verified Moctezuma DNA for the rest of us to test against.
Most of the Moctezuma family resettled in Spain after the conquest, and became members of the aristocracy of that country. Around 1700 a Moctezuma returned to New Spain as the new Viceroy.
