The Manuel Project was started as a place to further our research in the our family lines. Several dead ends had been reached in the paper trails of our 25+ years of research and DNA testing provided a way to confirm the paper trail and extend them beyond.
We have become the gathering point for all Manuels around the world whatever their Surname spelling variation.
Since the Manuels and Heberts are often linked because some of the descendants of Jean Baptiste Hebert dit Manuel (Emmanuel) took the name Manuel in their new home in Louisiana we have included them with this group also.
