Lanier DNA Project- Background
Administrators
Surnames
Lanear, Lanier, Laniere, Lanyer
Background
My name is Nancy Kiser and I am the volunteer administrator of this Lanier DNA Project. I am a descendant of John Lanier who emigrated from England to Virginia in the 1650s. John Lanier was the probable grandson of Nicholas Lanier born about 1540 in France as written about in the book Lanier by Louise Ingersoll. I volunteered to be the administrator of this Lanier DNA Project because I am very enthusiastic about the role of DNA analysis used in conjunction with traditional genealogical research. If you have any questions about this project, please feel free to contact me at nancy_kiser@hotmail.com.
