The goal is to test at least one male Krupicka from the known Krupicka groups living in Nebraska/Texas/Oregon/Illinois/Minnesota or elsewhere in the world to see if the markers show a match that would suggest a relationship in Bohemia/Moravia, etc. that isn't traceable through paper records.

I would suggest that you read the information of the different tests available on the www.familytreedna.com site. The mtDna isn't a part of this male Krupicka project but if you are curious as to your mother's haplogroup, it is cheaper to use the combined test kit.

For this Krupicka Project, I would like to suggest you order the marker test that you can afford at this time.

If you have a match, you can then use the upgrade test to help verify relationship to a higher degree.
