We have been fortunate that Clan MacCord Society was started many years ago. When DNA testing began, many of their members joined this surname project.   Each family lineage tells its own unique and interesting story.  We have many genealogists within our ranks that offer to help members extend their own family histories and link to established lines.  The DNA project adds a new genealogical tool as participants with similar DNA results are likely to have a common ancestor.
