Project Goals
My original goal in starting this Project was to find a connection some where in the past with another "Jones" family member. Hopefully, this is the goal of each one who joins.
The GOAL for our Surname Group is to expand our knowliedge of the Jones family and to try to connect as many of us together as possible. I would greatly enjoy to see a group membership of at least 500 people. It may seem like a lot, but with all of the millions upon millions of Joneses out there, 500 is not very many.
We welcome members from all nationalities and races. Even if our genetics might not intersect within the past thousand years, one can never be sure that there will be no connection within the past 600 years. Races and nationalities have mingled.
Do not hestitate to join even if you think you will not match anyone in our group. Surprises happen. Take a chance and grow your tree a little more.
