WELCOME TO THE HUCKABY SURNAME DNA PROJECT


This project was initiated by James Richard Huckaby in July of 2007 after many years of research with many hours of trying to negotiate brick walls and pursuing invalid resources. With DNA testing I believe that many of the barriers encountered can be broken through a concerted group effort.
This project is open to participants worldwide with surname Huckaby and any reasonable variant spelling. Since this is a Y-DNA study, only males can be tested. Y-DNA is present only in males and passes from father to son. Researchers who do not have the surname themselves or females can participate by finding a male Huckaby relative willing to provide a simple, painless cheek-rubbing sample.
