Project Goals
The goal of the HOLT Surname Project is to distinguish between HOLT ancestral lines, worldwide. Any reasonable spelling variant is included.
As the number of individuals tested increases and variant spelled lines become well defined, I will be more than happy to turn over these variant lines to other researchers specializing in them.
Also please note that, to participate meaningfully, I will need you to share your male direct-line ancestry as you know it, either in the form of a pedigree, or a direct lineage including the states or countries of birth and the years of birth. This helps me and others to determine their migration routes for comparison studies.
