The Hazara DNA project welcomes all those who come from or trace their ancestry to Hazara communities of present-day Afghanistan or Pakistan. People from neighboring regions of Iran, Central Asia, and South Asia are also welcome provided that their Y-DNA and DNA results overlap with Hazara
