Golledge Project Background

This surname project is open to all families from around the world with the surnames Gulledge, Gullage, Golledge, Gullege and other variant spellings. If you are are male with the surname Golledge or surname variant , we are interested in your YDNA, mtDNA and Family Finder results. If you are female with the Golledge surname or variant , we are interested in your mtDNA and Family Finder results.

Please join our DNA study if you have an interest in genetic genealogy. Most people turn to DNA testing in an attempt to find related families when the paper trail backward in time seems to come to an end.Hopefully the DNA will allow us to move one step closer to solving the puzzles. There could be several Gulledge/Golledge/Gullage lines, or is there only 1??

1) You are a descendant of William D. Gullage, who married Martha Brock, born 1826 Chesterfield, SC and died 1884 Barbour, Alabama.

2) Gulledges or Gullage males originating out of North Carolina, South Carolina or Tennessee.
