Project Background:

Devoted especially to descendants of John and Elizabeth Fairfield of Wenham, MA, who migrated to America in the early 1600s. 1950s family researcher Wynn Cowan Fairfield compiled the definitive collection of the first five generations of descendants, but with little or no documentation. Several lines in particular have very vague presumed ties, including the Canadian Fairfields who descend from William Fairfield the Loyalist.
