To determine if the Cheshire and Yorkshire Duttons are related.
To determine if Duntons and Duttons are related.
To document family connections and genealogy work through DNA.
To find family connections back in time and to help solve "brick walls."

Project News:

Two Zachariah Duttons have found a DNA match confirming their genealogy.
Two Maryland Duttons have a potential match or one step difference with another Dutton from England.

Project Results:

We have established that the MA and PA Duttons do not have a common DNA ancestor.
We have established the relatedness of two descendants of Zachariah Dutton sons confirming their genealogy data.
We have found three different DNA lineages claiming to descend from PA John and Mary (Darlington) Dutton.
We have been successful in helping a member find her family when the genealogy trail suggested a connection, but there was a break in the paper trail.
