A Y-DNA Study for the DUNNING surname would benefit all DUNNING researchers worldwide. What we need is a commitment of males with the surname DUNNING or its variants to participate in this study. We need males because the Y-DNA is passed from father to son. By comparing the Y-DNA of living males and in conjunction with the written genealogical record, we can see which groups are related.
