Summary
So far, the project has identified four separate families in four different haplogroup subclades.
• J-2a4b = J-M67 — descendants of Peter CARRICO I, 1674 immigrant to Maryland (n=16+1)
• J-2a4b-1 = J-M92 — descendant of Joaquim CARRICO, emigrant from Portugal to Brazil (n=1)
• L-2a = L-M349 — descendants of the CARACOs of Bursa, Turkey (n=2)
• R-1b1b-2a1b = R-P312 — two paper descendants of Peter CARRICO I with an NPE in their lineage, plus a matching LITTLETON (n=2+1)
