Project Goals
The initial focus of this study is to determine which Bâbys (all spellings) are genetically descended from the French Canadian immigrant to Canada in 1665, Jacques Babie de Ranville (1633-1688).
Furthermore, we would like to see if there is any connection with the Babin family which also hails from Ranville in the Poitou Region of France.
