Project Goals
There are three main objectives of this project:
(1) To cast a wide net so as to be able to distinguish between various ATKINS ancestral lines worldwide. As the number of individuals tested increases and various lines become well defined, We will be happy to turn over these lines to other researchers specializing in them.
(2). To attempt to connect lost branches and variously spelled surnames: Adkins/ Atkins/ Akins/ Adkinson, Atkinson, Atkisson, /etc.
(3) To trace Atkins lineages back to the British Isles and connect to families there.
