My FamilyTree DNA Project Website Title- Background

Background

The purpose of this DNA project is to utilize DNA testing to deteremine relatedness between project paricipants and their invididual lines and to test matrilinear lines to help determine ethnic origins (Halpogroups) and lineage haplotypes (set of DNA markers unique to each line) to help determine early genealogical relationships where records and do not exist.

This project has a donation page for descendents who cannot do the dirfct line male and direct line female testing (note males have the same mtDNA as their mothers and can test for the direct female line back in time)
