Summary of Results:
We are quite the diverse group! We now have three distinct Yeo Lines. The 'R1B1' haplotype is generally associated with Western Europe, the 'I' haplotype is considered Nordic and the 'R1A1' haplotype is assotiated with Eastern Europe. Three of the individuals tested showed great genetic similarity with only two markers having different values in the thirty-six point test. Further testing of other branches is needed.

James Henry Yeo was born in Essex county, New Jersey in 1809. His parents were born in England, their names and the English Yeo line they are descended from is not known and is being sought by his descendants. He married Ruhaniah Eggleston in New Jersey. James Henry was a veterinarian surgeon, and moved several times during his life living in New Jesey, upstate New York, Ohio, and eventually in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he died sometime during or after 1883.
