About us
The purpose of this project is three fold:
1. Are the South Carolina Westerlunds related to the WestCoast and Midwest Weterlunds.(Minnesota , Alsaka, Washington, migration patterns?)
2. To find out if the Westerlund gene was originally part of the Westerfelt, Fessenfelt, Westerland, and Westervelt gene group (to help put to rest that the original Charleston Weterlund was really named Fessenfelt Westerfelt)
3.To trace genetic migration to it Scandinavian origins and see if our Westerlunds are Finns or Sweds, or something else.
